What we collect
The survey collects your ZIP code, work habits, preferences, optional comments, and the source of your visit. If you choose updates, we also collect your name and email and record the choices you made.
The on-page Social Club signup collects your first name, email, signup source, and permission to send gathering announcements and occasional community news. Joining the Social Club does not require the club survey or sign you up for the workspace waitlist or research follow-up.
Investment, partnership, and resource inquiries
If you use “Help bring The Front Room to life,” we collect your name, email, contribution interest, message, and permission to contact you about that inquiry. These records are stored separately from the workspace waitlist and Social Club lists; sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to either. We use these details to evaluate and respond to your idea. Contact us below to access, correct, or delete an inquiry. We plan to review inactive inquiries after 12 months and remove those no longer needed.
Gathering inquiries
If you share a Work and Gather idea, we collect your name, email, type of gathering, approximate guest count, optional timing, your message, and permission to contact you about it. This is an inquiry about a proposed venue, not a booking or a subscription to the Social Club or workspace lists. We use it to plan the space and respond to your idea. Contact us below to access, correct, or delete it. We plan to review inactive inquiries after 12 months.
Event reflections and participation
Our previous event form collected your reflection, first name, optional business name and website, participation interests, and email when you request follow-up. Previously submitted responses remain stored privately for review. We publish a reflection with your first name and optional business name only if you separately give permission; your email is never published. Indicating interest in UNO night does not subscribe you to a mailing list. Contact the founder below to access, correct, delete your submission, or withdraw publication permission. We plan to review inactive responses after 12 months.
How we use it
The Front Room uses responses to evaluate a proposed Metro Detroit membership workspace, plan gatherings, and contact you only for the lists you select or the inquiry you submit. We do not sell your response or put your details in a public member directory.
Your choices
You can submit survey feedback without joining a list. After submitting the survey or the on-page Social Club form, save the private preferences link shown on screen. It lets you unsubscribe or delete that response. If you submit more than once, each response has its own link. Earlier Beehiiv subscribers can use the unsubscribe link in Social Club emails. You can also contact us below to request access, correction, or deletion.
Where responses go
New on-page Social Club signups, survey responses, and inquiries are stored privately for The Front Room using our website hosting provider. Earlier Social Club signups (previously called Front Room Society signups) collected through Beehiiv remain there. Survey and inquiry responses are not displayed publicly; event reflections may be shared only with the separate permission described above. We plan to review unused research responses after 12 months and remove records no longer needed. The site does not take payments or automatically send confirmation emails for on-page signups.
